Civil War Museum & Club Picnic 2005

In August, the club played for the opening of the new James Ramage Civil War Museum.  Our players assembled on a stage erected on the front lawn just for the occasion.  Directly in front of them was the fresh excavations of the original Fort Wright guard structures.  It was a historic day on a historic property.  Dr. Ramage later commented that it was very appropriate that dulcimer music was included as a part of the festivities.  Afterward, the club retreated to the air conditioned Ft. Wright Civic Center for the annual club picnic.
